Bought a expensive leather couch from this company. They told me that it would take 6 weeks for delivery. I should have left the store right then, but I liked the couch and agreed to wait. Bought a 2 year old leather couch from Hudson's furniture store in Clearwater. The couch is now peeling. We complained to manager and were told it is not covered. We had an 8 year old couch before and it never peeled. So far, manager has not responded and plan to write to different TV stations to see if they can air my complaint. Bed got delivered at 9 a.m during the week bed frame didn't get delivered until 10:30 that night. Pillows promised were not with it, so I called them and spoke to Vince assistant manager at Sanford store only to be told "it's not the end of the world"!! Purchased a leather sectional for $2,500 and first had a bad experience with very late delivery. Two(2) years into having it, the leather peels right off and the couch looks old and cracked. Bought a (Lane) leather sectional. We also bought 5-year Hudson's Service Program. 4 years into it, a quarter-sized spot appeared. They sent a tech rep who examined it and said it should be covered under their plan and he would order the part. It might take a month or so. 2+ months later I called Customer Service again. Hudson's let me do 1 week of training for a sales position. At the end of training they decided I did not meet the training goals. I spent nearly 40 hours(5 days) of training, paid tolls of nearly $20 dollars , traveled over 250 miles in my car. They refuse to pay me even a minimum wage. The sales person did a terrible job at placing my order. Scheduled delivery was for 01/09 then it changed to 1/2 of my order coming on 01/24 and the remaining delivery on 02/15! That is crazy. They did nothing to correct the matter even at the corporate store when I found out my furniture was there in the warehouse.
