Peeling cracking ripped sofa

Store manager Noah Erickson has horrible horrible customer service! He was crude and unprofessional in every way speaking to me about my less than six month old peeling, ripped 2k flex steel sofa. He actually alkyd away during our conversation. leaving the sales am to help us when we had already had the wrong color shipped to us, then were dealing with the circumstance of having a ripped peeling leather sofa. It was the worst customer service experience I have had! He proceeded to walk around the store with one of his associates talking about me and giving me dirty looks, making me feel very uncomfortable.

Bad furniture poor service......still no refund

Purchased a Home Bar. Waited 8-10 weeks had it delivered (had to be home during mid week work hours). Item was damaged and they offered to repair.....I had a new item shipped two weeks later with the same and even worse issues. Have to be home again during my work hours to return the second bad piece and after tying up my money for 12 weeks, they still won't refund purchase until they process this claim. Which only God knows how long it will take. They can't begin a refund until the return of the second bad shipment.....Yet, they have no problem hanging on to my money for 12 weeks.

Bought my daughters bed frame and waited a month for it to be delivered only to find it full of holes. They claimed it was a manufacturers defect and would not refund my money. I received the run around and my calls ignored by Tres Fleming at the altamonte store as well as Marc the Manager. Very disappointed!!!

That is not a defect. Those are known as worm holes often found in furniture as a look.

This is normal. If you look at a lot of furnishings, you will find this a normal characteristic.

Had an outstanding experience with the Bradenton store. Sherry was the sales associate.

She was knowledgeable courteous and very pleasant.

I would recommend her and the Hudson furniture store in Bradenton to everyone I purchased mattresses and intend on living room and bedroom furniture. I will not buy from anyone else or at any other furniture store.

Poor warranty service

I purchased an extended warranty on a sofa and custom chairs just about a year ago at the Hudson furniture store in Brandon, Florida. I filed a claim on the sofa and continue to have problems getting Hudson to honor the warranty. I purchased it in good faith but after numerous calls to Hudson and their service provider I'm still getting the runaround. This has been going on almost 2 months. I'm very dissatisfied and will never buy from Hudson's again. They have no problem taking your money but in my opinion, they have a problem standing behind the things that they sell.

Delay tactics!!! Hudson's Furniture uses very unfair trade practices which violates Florida law. In fact, I am seriously considering filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General. Hudson's is THAT bad! Always use a credit card so you can dispute , if necessary. Remember, you only have 60 days to dispute from the time you order. So if your furniture doesn't arrive in a timely manner, better call your credit card company, because Hudson's does all sorts of delay tactics. They told me I would get a refund and for me to be patient. Well, good thing I saw red flags, because I contacted my credit card company and they advised me I only had 60 days and it's been about 30 days. They had the nerve to tell me it would take 2-3 MONTHS to refund my credit card because they only had one person in accounting. Really Hudson's ? Well guess what? I'm winning!

Hudson's Furniture is not a good place to work or shop

Hudson's let me do 1 week of training for a sales position. At the end of training they decided I did not meet the training goals. I spent nearly 40 hours(5 days) of training, paid tolls of nearly $20 dollars , traveled over 250 miles in my car. They refuse to pay me even a minimum wage. CONSIDER THAT BEFORE MAKING a purchase!This is a company who claims to have donated $17,000 to a good cause yet they won't pay me for a hard worked weeks earnings. I made many attempts to resolve this before submitting this.If they did me wrong they will do you wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I special ordered a day bed before Thanksgiving; it arrived Jan 9 without a frame so its totally useless. Trying to see if the store will refund my money. Wasted 4 hours waiting for the delivery. Would not recommend this store.

Mistreated

Bought (supposedly) power recliners with battery packs. Paid full amount on the spot. Later, while in Europe, we were told battery packs unavailable. (They lied to us.). Said they located another set...for additional $400. We were gone for six weeks before getting home to look at alternatives. Didn't like them and asked for refund (over $3,000). Store promised to take care of it. Did not. Returned to store and asked for credit proof. Store gave us receipt but did not process through American Express. After few days had to call American Express to get refund from store. Obviously this store in Brandon does not conduct business in an accepted manner. They used our money for several weeks but dragged their feet in returning it. A word to the wise...

Interesting; I am going through this as well with the Brandon location, trying to get a refund and proof of credit which was supposed to have already taken place on my credit card, I guess I better start dispute with my credit card.

Hudsons Furniture - Warranty Review from Brandon, Florida

Hi bought a couch from Hudson furniture. After four years the material started peeling off the couch. Went back to Hudson with my warranty and they told me it does not protect me against manufacturer defects. I responded with why is your mistake with your vendor costing me almost $1000? They would only give me back the money I paid for my warranty. This company is a rip off. Do not buy from them. Buy from anyone else but Hudson furniture!!

No Delivery, Just a run around

Ordered a beautiful. King Set Bedroom suite. Each piece separately priced, but all matching. We received everything but our two night tables. Been almost two months already. First explanation was back order will be one week. Second was back ordered two weeks. Third was we will send you loaner tables from another store until yours come in. Now this Fourth time is I will call you later on in the day to give you an update. That was two days ago. Cash was paid for this suite of $6,000.00 They don't care. They got their money. It's like a game to them now. We get the run around. Never will I do business with this company again.

Extremely bad experience - never buy from them - they are a fraud!

We bought a sofa set in 2010, the sales lady CJ Dunn made us buy a protection plan with the sofa. The protection plan claims to cover everything from rips, moving damages, cracks etc... After 12 months the leather of the sofa started to peel of like paint. We called the customer service and were told that our protection plan does not cover the damage. We went to the branch in Brandon from where we bought the sofa, and were told that the sofa will be replaced and we need to call a number the gave us. After 1000s of phone calls someone picked the phone, we explained everything and the lady told that a manger will call us back and the manager never called. We went back to the brandon branch in tampa and the manager there Joel was extremely bad, he didnt have answer to our questions and behaved very unprofessional, rude and uncompetent. It has been almost one year and we have not heard from hudsons. The sales people are indirectly forcing you to get the protection plan because they get commission from it. We really regret buying from Hudsons, they are a fraud. Never buy from them, you will regret!!!!

I am writing to hopefully speak with a CEO or VP that can provide me the terrible and completely unsolved situation I have been dealing with. So far, not so good. For a company that prides and advertises their quality "family service", I have yet to experience anything of the sort. I have been given the run-around in regards to when and if my furniture will ever be delivered to my home. In addition they also took my entire payment up front including the delivery fee. Now, almost seven weeks later I am still sleeping on an air mattress with no expected delivery date provided. I regret the choice of doing business with this particular company who seems to have more interest in commission than providing the service they advertise.

Sofas bought from Hudson furniture.

I bought a 3 piece living room set and within a few months the back of the sofa had caved in. The furniture was still under warranty plus I bought extra warranty for one year longer. well, I called them and told them what had happen, they said they would have someone over. This took quite a while before finally someone came out to fix it. The guy that came out did nothing to fix it, told me I had to fluff it out which he did and that didn't work. It's still the same and I called them back, they told that someone had come out. I asked to speak with the store manager, she came to phone and me that they had come out to fix. I will never go back to this store!!!!

We purchased a $2000.00 leather couch from the Ocoee store. About a year and a half after purchase we saw that it was flaking and peeling. Fast forward two years, numerous phone calls, and visits to the store in order to give them a chance to rectify the situation, and still nothing has been done. Hudson's customer service has been awful since they day they got our money. Like another review that we saw on here, we were replacing a couch from rooms to go after about 8 years that was still in great shape. We were only replacing to go with a new look. I asked for a name in the corporate office, and the agent "Betsy" would not give it to me. She just continued to repeat "there's nothing we can do". I wonder if the company executives are aware of what is happening out in the stores. Please do yourself a favor and do not make the same mistake we did. I wish someone had warned me.

My wife and I purchased a so called leather sectional from Hudsons, and we are experiencing the same thing, color chipping off. I will never spend my money in another one of their stores. Hudsons sells low quality garbage.
