Hudsons Furniture - Defective furniture (twice), horrid customer service
Went on labor day and ordered sectional sofa and two reclining chairs.All arrived in 8 weeks (after being promised in 4 weeks).
Two reclining chairs were defective. Waited while they sent out technician who confirmed they were defective. Received a "reselect letter" spent time choosing and ordered a bed and two end tables. Promised in 6 weeks.
Didn't come until 3 days before Christmas. Chair didn't look like swatch, and had a defect in the arm. Special order, will not do anything but fix defect in arm--we are fed up with company and rue he day we went into the store. STAY AWAY.
Manager did not even apologize for our experience, argued that they could fix. Customer service said manager could authorize a return. He said he couldn't. Either someone is lying or someone doesn't know their own store policies.
Bottom line, thousands of dollars for the worst customer service ever experienced by a furniture store and defective products. Never again.
Monetary Loss: $3000.
