Hudson’s Furniture Scam...
Listen Folks. I want everyone to read this.
Hudson’s Furniture is a scam. How do I know this? I work there. In one of the stores as a salesperson.
In Tampa Bay Area. They will gladly take your money, sell you worthless service agreements and then purposely not repair or take anything back. I am only here until I find another job and hopefully soon. I know for a fact that Josh Hudson, who runs the day to day operations, will tell his regional and store managers to wear down a client with a problem so they just go away.
I see it every day. It is such a joke among the sales people here. I suggest before you step foot into any of their stores to know that they want your money and care not one iotas about you. You are best to shop somewhere else.
And to the upper management of Hudson’s you are all prisoners to the Hudson family. They have you sacrificing your integrity so they can line their pockets of money off good folks ignorance. I challenge you to find me. When you do I will tell you how it is.
Customers: Stay away. Management: Good riddance.

Ordered about $20,000 worth of furniture In July most all came in damaged off the truck. They refused to take them back. Still waiting for them to be fixed & for items that have been ordered. The designer came up with a plan for our home
Some things don’t go, or so big they don’t fit. Been going round & round with customer service, the designer and Jessica DeVaney, manager. Phone calls are not returned, I am told things can’t be returned nor can I get my money back. The delivery people won’t take anything back without an order for it. I’m told it was ordered but when I check with customer service it has not been an order for any pick ups or replacements.
I’m at my wits end, the stress over all of this has given me such anxiety that I have had to seek help.
In the scheme of things is about $4,000 to return on a $20,000 plus order to much to be expected?
Seems like Hudson’s are taken advantage of us older people.
Everyone that has shopped say at Babbets or City Furniture have always had their money returned.
I’m sorry I ever shopped here.
2 recliners=horrible
trying to understand why we spent $1600. for 2 leather -rocker recliners...and now after 2 yrs all the Brown stain is coming off and underneath they are a Burgandy color????...we thought that they were real leather....
and is tanned and real leather has no loss of color like this...I think we were scammed as to what we bought for big money..we even bought the protection plan -but it does not cover nothing...they sent a man to come repair the one chair...we paid $75.00 for half of fix it price of $150...these were for our retirement and thought they would last being leather -but I guess they are vinyl and the stain is on us all the time=legs-arms and your hair.....we need something done to resolve this.....this should be what happens to good honest-hard working folks...I am going to keep trying to make this work for us or.... I am going to small claims court.....

I believe you but found out the hard way.
I bought furniture from this company last year. The leather was peeling away leaving the fabric.
We tossed it in the trash and went to Matter Brothers. We were taken care of snd our new furniture is amazing.
Biggest mistake of my life buying furniture from this company. When I call to see about getting my warranty refunded to me the girl on the other end of the phone st the Rampa store laughed at me and said that would not happen.
My heart sunk. I saved up for more than a year to buy it and now it is ruined.
No help from service department. Guess I will have to just live with the damage.
Finally someone taking the time to speak the truth about this company. I worked here and wasted my time trying to answer customers complaints all the time.
Finally had enough of the lies I had to tell them and moved on.
