Hudson’s does not back their warranty

Do not buy from this company! They do not back their warranty! We purchased a leather couch and a loveseat with their 5 warranty. Within a couple of years they began cracking and peeling at the seams and folds. When we called Hudson’s to file a claim to have them repaired, we were quickly told that it was wear and tear and not covered. They told us this without actually seeing the messed up areas. We have found quite a few people who have experienced the same issue and we are working to find more. Horrible warranty - waste of money!

We have tried to call the store, call the warranty dealer - to no avail. We have wasted SO much time, just to be told 'this is NOT covered' which is ridiculous. We were assured when we bought this leather furniture from Hudsons that this was a great warranty. Total waste of money and fraudulent. We are furious!

Listen Folks. I want everyone to read this.

Hudson’s Furniture is a scam. How do I know this? I work there. In one of the stores as a salesperson.

In Tampa Bay Area. They will gladly take your money, sell you worthless service agreements and then purposely not repair or take anything back. I am only here until I find another job and hopefully soon. I know for a fact that Josh Hudson, who runs the day to day operations, will tell his regional and store managers to wear down a client with a problem so they just go away.

I see it every day. It is such a joke among the sales people here. I suggest before you step foot into any of their stores to know that they want your money and care not one iotas about you. You are best to shop somewhere else.

And to the upper management of Hudson’s you are all prisoners to the Hudson family. They have you sacrificing your integrity so they can line their pockets of money off good folks ignorance. I challenge you to find me. When you do I will tell you how it is.

Customers: Stay away. Management: Good riddance.

I bought furniture from this company last year. The leather was peeling away leaving the fabric.

We tossed it in the trash and went to Matter Brothers. We were taken care of snd our new furniture is amazing.

Biggest mistake of my life buying furniture from this company. When I call to see about getting my warranty refunded to me the girl on the other end of the phone st the Rampa store laughed at me and said that would not happen.

My heart sunk. I saved up for more than a year to buy it and now it is ruined.

No help from service department. Guess I will have to just live with the damage.

Finally someone taking the time to speak the truth about this company. I worked here and wasted my time trying to answer customers complaints all the time.

Finally had enough of the lies I had to tell them and moved on.

Have had Three products needing repair shortly after purchase Now repair of sofa needs to be done ordered material tech came wrong part tech returned no part probably be 3 months if lucky to fix

Tried to use warranty for broken chair. They claim the chair is no longer made. Did not want to replace it. Wanted to give $1300 in store credit. Would not buy a chair at big lots. Waste of money. Treated like *** Buyers beware. Go elsewhere.

What a terrible warranty company for Hudson’s... ‘“Fast” Furniture Repair’ is not as it seems. Listen to your voicemails and call back the number left to confirm appointments! You never answer the phone again when we call back. You needlessly cancelled an appt because we couldn’t reach you again, and you clearly don’t listen to voicemails. Unprofessional.

TRY TO GET REPAIR DONE

Bad products

We have had a ton of products with Hudson's First a bed then a recliner and next a sofa Last sofa material was peeling. They fixed and it started again. owner said throe it out and gave $ money for new one. Got new one and material bad again. Sent new material. Tech came wrong material. Tech came again no material. Couch looks like *** and here we sit again Thanks Hudson's

Bad love seats

We have bought 2 love seats from Hudson Furniture the first one was defected had to return the second one we have had for 6 weeks and our backs are killing us. when you sit in the seat you almost go to the floor What is going on we paid good money for this furniture, Called 10 on your side and they advised us to call them back if the company dose not make good on your problem.

I wish I would have read all of these reviews before I bought my furniture from Hudson's. The customer service is horrible! I worked with one of their interior designers and ordered over $8,000 worth of furniture from her. She did a really bad job on getting the dimensions right for my small space. You have to go back an measure everything yourself to make sure the dimensions are right. I thought I could trust the expertise and the training of the designer but I was wrong! I'm having a horrible time trying to get them to take anything back. I have to completely start over. I am sick about this.

Terrible customer service & return policy

Ordered about $20,000 worth of furniture In July most all came in damaged off the truck. They refused to take them back. Still waiting for them to be fixed & for items that have been ordered. The designer came up with a plan for our home

Some things don’t go, or so big they don’t fit. Been going round & round with customer service, the designer and Jessica DeVaney, manager. Phone calls are not returned, I am told things can’t be returned nor can I get my money back. The delivery people won’t take anything back without an order for it. I’m told it was ordered but when I check with customer service it has not been an order for any pick ups or replacements.

I’m at my wits end, the stress over all of this has given me such anxiety that I have had to seek help.

In the scheme of things is about $4,000 to return on a $20,000 plus order to much to be expected?

Seems like Hudson’s are taken advantage of us older people.

Everyone that has shopped say at Babbets or City Furniture have always had their money returned.

I’m sorry I ever shopped here.

trying to understand why we spent $1600. for 2 leather -rocker recliners...and now after 2 yrs all the Brown stain is coming off and underneath they are a Burgandy color????...we thought that they were real leather....

and is tanned and real leather has no loss of color like this...I think we were scammed as to what we bought for big money..we even bought the protection plan -but it does not cover nothing...they sent a man to come repair the one chair...we paid $75.00 for half of fix it price of $150...these were for our retirement and thought they would last being leather -but I guess they are vinyl and the stain is on us all the time=legs-arms and your hair.....we need something done to resolve this.....this should be what happens to good honest-hard working folks...I am going to keep trying to make this work for us or.... I am going to small claims court.....

They stopped using what you and I would call "real leather" some time ago. The time honored method of aniline vat dye immersion is no longer used and what they do now is more akin to spray paint.

Delivery

Customer service for delivery sucks. I was suppose to get a call on Monday with a 3 hour window for delivery on Tuesday, didn't get it. Was out of the house for 1/2 hour Tuesday morning, they came and left, called with a message, said they would reschedule. They were 20 minutes away when I called them back and said they would not turn around.
